Hi! I’m Cathy & I’m so happy you’re here!
First of all, congratulations on your engagement and I’m so glad you’ve crossed my path during your wedding planning. Whether you’re in the early stages or getting down to the wire, I hope you find the information & inspiration you’re looking for in these pages. A fun fact about me is that I’m terrible at intro’s so let’s spare us both and stick to some good old fashioned bullet points!
I’m an Illinois native, an Aveda Institute Chicago alum (2004) and a Michigan resident as of January 2022.
I first began my career as a bridal hairstylist in 2008 in Vail, Colorado when I created a mobile hairstyling company called Weemala (which still exists in Summit County!). I spent 13 years living in the beautiful Rockies before moving back to the Midwest to put down roots in Traverse City!
I love the outdoors (year round), true crime podcasts and would choose tea over coffee any day of the week!
I love to snowboard and have been into snow sports since I was 6…thanks Mom & Dad!
My favorite foods are pickles (pickled everything), hot sauce (it’s a food…) & Maine lobster.
I learned to surf in Peru.
I have a 5 year old Pyrenees mix named Briscoe that my world revolves around.
My clients describe me as creative, intuitive, receptive, calm, and relaxed - which is what I strive to be in all aspects of my life.

I can’t wait to get to know YOU!! Really though, of all the things I’m most thankful for in this career, the connections I’ve made and the relationships I’ve built along the way are by far the best part.
