HOW MANY GUESTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?

I can accommodate the Bride + up to 5 guests on my own. I typically allot for 1.5 - 2 hours for the Bride’s hair and 45 minutes - 1 hour per guest so due to those timing estimates, 6 guests is the maximum I can accommodate on my own.

As an independent stylist, I do not provide additional artists. 2nd stylist recommendations are available for larger parties or shorter getting ready windows of time.

Wedding Day Service Times

Bride - 1.5 hours (Glam Waves 2 hours)

Bridesmaids/Mothers/Guests - 45 minutes (1 hour for longer/thicker hair or adding extensions)

Bridal Party Adjustments/Buffer Time - 30 minutes

CAN WE USE MY VENUE’S BRIDAL SUITE?

  • Please be aware that most venues have a specific time that you’re allowed to enter. I need to know that time as soon as possible to be able to determine the possibility of using your suite for your hair services from start to finish.

  • I will be able to determine timing more accurately during your preview but I typically estimate 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the bride and 45/1 hour minutes per guest. If that timing adds up (make sure to add a 30 minute buffer at the end to account for any touch-ups/adjustmentsdelays) to create a start time that is earlier than the time you’re allowed to enter the suite… we need to make other arrangements!

    Do you travel?

    I currently keep my travel radius to ~50 miles from my home just North of Traverse City from May - October. Travel within Traverse City & Suttons Bay is complimentary. Travel beyond Traverse City is listed below.

    PAYMENT

    • I accept payment by cash, check or credit card (cash or check will have no processing fee)

    • I do not accept Venmo for services.

    • I do require a non-refundable retainer to book your wedding date upon signing the contract (This retainer will be applied to the Day Of services and not the preview).

    • An invoice of your Day Of balance will be sent approx. 30 days before your date.

    • Payment will be due 14 days before your wedding (including travel/parking if applicable). (paying in advance cuts down on confusion when everyone is on a tight time frame and ready to go!).

    • Gratuity can be added at the time of invoice if you wish. Gratuity Day Of can be in the form of cash or check.

    • Late Day Of Invoice payments will be charged an 18% late fee.

      I have done calculations to incorporate my time, product cost, continuing education, etc into creating my service pricing. These prices are non-negotiable. Please take the time to read through these terms.

      I DO NOT ACCEPT SEPARATE PAYMENTS

    • Timing on your wedding day doesn’t allow for me to keep track/track down payments from guests during the service time frame. Payments will need to be in one form and settled ahead of time to keep things uncomplicated when it’s about to be wedding time and everyone is all over the place.

    • If your guest are paying for themselves, please arrange for them to pay you directly.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Non-refundable Retainer

    • A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the contracted amount is required upon submission of our signed contract no matter how far away or close to the actual date we are booking.

    • The retainer will be applied to the day of balance.

    • I book on a first come basis, sometimes over a year in advance and I turn down other brides for the same date if I already have a signed contract. I may also incur additional costs in attempting to rebook, if at all possible. By signing this contract we are committing to working together on your wedding day.

    • Your retainer is non-refundable as it includes the costs of time spent planning, corresponding & coordinating which are included services when booking with me.

    CANCELLATION FOR SERVICES

    CRC Bridal Hair Co. reserves the right to charge for contracted/expected services if there is a cancellation within six months of scheduled services. Other brides are turned down to save the dates for the those who book first and may not be able to have the opportunity to rebook without ample advanced notice.

    How should my Mom or the Mother of my Fiance style her hair?

I would highly recommend discussing this with them BEFORE counting them in for services! Although I will be so happy to style their hair, above the chin - short hair is not a specialty of mine. If your Mom or your fiance’s Mom ( this can include Grandma as well) have a style that they are particular about… they may not be the most comfortable having me wing it on wedding day! If this describes one of the Moms in your group… let’s chat before booking them for hair!

I plan on having a Flower Girl and Junior Bridesmaid in my party. How much are these services?

I do not offer Flower Girl services, so sorry about that! Junior Bridesmaids count as 1 of your regular guests.

Can my Mom, MOG, Guest or Sister have a trial run for their hair?

Unfortunately No. Previews (trial runs) are only available for the Bride(s)

Can I bring a guest to my Preview?

I prefer that you don’t. I understand the desire to have someone special accompany you but I find it to be a distraction that takes away from our very important 1:1 time together. If someone accompanies you on the drive to my studio, I’d be happy to recommend a nearby cafe or coffee shop and then they would be very welcome to join us towards the end of our appointment if you’d like them to see your style!

Please note - I do have a very well behaved dog, Briscoe, who lives with me and loves to hang with the ladies. If you prefer he doesn’t… please let me know!
